The Wayne County CEO Program, Class of 2025, will host their annual trade show on
Saturday, May 3 , 2025 from 9am to 12pm in Bob Boyles Hall on the campus of Frontier Community College. The annual trade show is an opportunity for students to celebrate innovation and entrepreneurship. It is the culmination of all the skills and knowledge students have gained over the course of the program and show case their own personal business venture that they have been working on during the school year. Innovative businesses include Beth Bakes, a baked goods business by Hannah Fickas, a senior at Cisne High School as well as Rosie K’s candles and wax melts by Ava Isle, a junior at Fairfield Community High School.

Other area CEO participants are planning to show case their businesses as well. Businesses include photography, permanent jewelry, fresh cotton candy, chocolate covered treats, dill pickles and cake pops!

The Wayne County CEO program is an immersive educational experience open to all Wayne County high school juniors and seniors, including home schooled students. Students spend the school year learning about entrepreneurship and small business development, as well as benefiting from career exploration, community engagement, develop important communication skills and networking relationships. The CEO program is free for students and schools. However it is self funded as it relies on local investors to support this transformative learning experience.
