Wayne County CEO Welcomes Guest Speakers from Frontier Community College

On Friday, September 12, Wayne County CEO hosted two guest speakers from Frontier Community College.

Catherine Singleton, Philosophy & Ethics Instructor, spoke with students about the importance of writing thoughtful and professional thank-you notes and notes of encouragement. Students then had the opportunity to put these skills into practice by writing notes to this year’s business tour hosts and guest speakers.

Kim Wellen, English Instructor, led a session on the importance of strong introductions and the art of making small talk and conversation starters. These skills will be especially valuable as students prepare for the upcoming Mentor Match-Up on Friday, September 26.
