On Wednesday, September 17, Dr. Sharmila Kakac, President of Frontier Community College, met with Wayne County CEO students to introduce the SWOT analysis—an in-depth tool for decision-making in business. Students learned that SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats.

Dr. Kakac encouraged them to apply this framework not only in business but also in personal decisions, such as choosing colleges or areas of study in the coming years. Students then practiced using the tool to evaluate different business scenarios, gaining a clearer understanding of how to identify each element of SWOT to make informed decisions.

Thank you to Dr. Kakac! We appreciate your time and your expertise. #frontiercommunitycollege
