Yesterday, October 7, students in the Wayne County CEO Program had the opportunity to meet with Samantha Baker, staff accountant at FNB Financial Services in Fairfield. In addition to her accounting career, Samantha is the owner of 6 Juan 8 Bakery and operates a small rental property business.

During her presentation, Samantha discussed the importance of accounting and the role of Cost of Goods Sold, emphasizing how mastering these two areas can enhance financial management and drive business growth. She shared how both sound accounting and cost control directly affect the bottom line in each of her small business enterprises. Samantha also highlighted how these practices are essential to building a sustainable and profitable small business.

We thank Samantha for sharing her time, experience, and valuable insight with the Wayne County CEO students.
