Wayne County CEO Hosts First Mentor Mixer of the Year

On Friday, October 24th, the Wayne County CEO Program held its first Mentor Mixer of the program year. The event began with a fun icebreaker game of Two Truths and a Lie, giving students and mentors a chance to laugh and learn more about one another.

Following the activity, students had the opportunity to update their mentors on everything happening in CEO so far. They shared highlights from recent business visits, progress on their $1 to $100 Challenge project, and plans for this year’s class business.

Before wrapping up for the morning, students and mentors were introduced to Fairfield Memorial Hospital’s new Interim CEO, Andy Flemer. Mr. Flemer spoke about his educational background, his experience working in small rural hospitals across the country, and the many positive developments the hospital has seen under his leadership.
