On Tuesday, December 2nd, the Wayne County CEO class was invited to the Fairfield Lions Club monthly luncheon and meeting. The group also welcomed guidance counselors from both Fairfield and Wayne City High Schools, Meghan Pearce, Bert Biggs and Jenna Talbert, along with Tiffany Lyons, principal at FCHS.

Facilitator Sarah Rush opened the program by introducing the students and giving members and guests an overview of the CEO experience and the benefits of its immersive, hands-on approach to learning. Students then introduced themselves, shared information about the class business, and discussed the individual businesses they will be developing this spring. They also answered questions from members and guests about their future plans and their experiences in the program so far.

As a special treat, the Lions Club allows its guest presenters to select the menu for that month’s meeting, and the CEO class chose a Fish Fry with brownies for dessert. A special thank you goes to Matt and Jim Rush for frying the fish and hushpuppies.

Thank you to Don Witter and the Fairfield Lions Club for hosting us and for the wonderful lunch!
