On Tuesday, January 20, Wayne County CEO students spent the morning with Kari Book, HR and Marketing Manager at FNB Community Bank in Fairfield. Kari spoke with students about the hiring process and effective employee management, including conflict resolution and making difficult employment decisions. She also guided students through identifying key positions needed for a new startup, writing job descriptions, and welcoming new employees.

Students appreciated the hands-on learning experience and gained a stronger understanding of the role human resources plays in business ownership. Thank you to Kari Book and FNB Community Bank for their continued support of the Wayne County CEO Program.
