The Wayne County CEO Class wrapped up their class business, Nothing but NET Worth, this past Tuesday. Students sold raffle tickets for a chance to shoot a half-court shot worth $10,000. While our raffle winner was not successful, we are hopeful the experience made a lasting impact and inspires him to join the Wayne County CEO Class of 2032!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the following community partners for their support of this class business: Hank Simmers, CSI Inc., Kari Book, FNB Community Bank, the Wayne County Press, WFIW Radio, Fairfield Memorial Hospital, Mule Nation, and the administration and staff of Fairfield Community High School — with a special shout-out to Athletic Director Justin Townsend.
We also extend our gratitude to the communities of Fairfield and Wayne City for supporting our students through ticket sales and attendance at Tuesday night’s event. Through this experience, students gained a better understanding of sales, pricing by determining cost of goods sold, and marketing and advertising.
Thank you again for your continued support of the Wayne County CEO Program!
