Wayne County CEO students recently had the pleasure of meeting with former CEO participants from neighboring communities who are now attending Frontier Community College in Fairfield. Cam Tappendorf of Clay County, Sarah McCorkle of Wabash County, and Lauren Burzynski of White County shared valuable insights as students prepare for their upcoming Trade Show on April 18.
Cam, Sarah, and Lauren discussed how to effectively set up trade show booths and present themselves professionally. They also prepared a slide presentation featuring photos from their own trade show experiences, giving students a firsthand look at the importance of strong signage, appealing displays, and overall booth aesthetics when showcasing their personal businesses.
In addition, students had the opportunity to ask questions about their upcoming Shark Tank event and gain advice on how to best prepare. Hearing directly from recent CEO alumni provided practical tips and encouragement as Wayne County CEO students continue developing their businesses and preparing for these exciting milestones.
