Last week, Wayne County CEO students had the opportunity to catch up with Fairfield Mayor, Gary Moore and tour City Hall. Gary spoke with students about "the business" of running the City of Fairfield. He explained how the each ward within the city has elected Aldermen and the mayor moderates the meeting, only voting in the instance of a tie. Students asked about how the city sets its budget and disperses monies to each of the departments. They also asked about which departments offer the greatest ROI of taxpayers funds and the departments that offer the least.
