Lucas Halbert

About Me

Lucas Halbert, a senior at Fairfield Community High School, is active in cross country, football, basketball, baseball, FFA, drama team, and FCA.  He has a passion for motorsports and has worked at Wayne County Speedway. He currently works for the Heartland Auto Racing Tour and 357’s World of Dirt.  Lucas is currently announcing races, photographing and videoing motorsport events, and interviewing drivers to write articles about racing for those companies.  In March, Lucas began his own racing news outlet called Grassroots Racing News. He also works for DiMaggios Pizza and Big Boy Barbecue.  Lucas attends Merriam Community Church.  He plans on attending Frontier Community College for a year, then transferring to Belmont Abbey College and earning a Bachelor's Degree in Motorsport Management.  His career goal is to be president of operations for a NASCAR cup series team. Lucas is the son of Patrick and Carrie Halbert.
