Wayne County CEO Students Gain a Unique Perspective on Business and Banking

Wayne County CEO students recently had a unique opportunity to network with three members of the Fairfield National Bank Board of Directors. Jarod Weaver, Terry Wilkerson and Matt Rush invited the students to breakfast at TJ’s in Wayne City for an engaging conversation about business, entrepreneurship and the local economy.

Each shared insights from their own entrepreneurial ventures while also discussing the opportunities and challenges facing the agriculture sector and Wayne County as a whole. Students gained a unique perspective by hearing from individuals who not only own and operate businesses, but also serve as bank directors and shareholders.

The conversation gave students an opportunity to look at the local business community from several different perspectives and better understand the important role that agriculture, entrepreneurship, banking and community leadership play in Wayne County.

Students also took advantage of the opportunity to promote their $1 to $100 challenges and gain insightful feedback from these entrepreneurs. We appreciate Jarod, Terry and Matt for taking the time to invest in our CEO students and share their knowledge and experiences with the next generation of Wayne County business leaders.
