Wayne County CEO Students Connect at Southern Illinois CEO Regional Workshop!
Wayne County CEO students traveled to Marion, Illinois, this past Monday for the Southern Illinois CEO Regional Workshop at Thrill House!
The workshop brought together students from eight CEO programs across Southern Illinois, giving our students a great opportunity to connect, interact, and network with fellow young entrepreneurs from around the region.
Students participated in an interactive presentation led by Chris Eggleston, Midland Institute’s Community Engagement Leader, who challenged students to learn how to craft the perfect pitch. They also heard from Midland’s Social Media and Marketing Specialist about how to use social media strategically to build their brand, promote their business, and connect with their customers.
After a morning filled with learning and networking, students enjoyed lunch and a tour of the ever-evolving Thrill Ville and the Oasis family of businesses. It was a great opportunity to see entrepreneurship, creativity, and business growth happening firsthand!
